At the outset of BrandVisionHD, we assembled a team of software leaders to build our platform from the ground up, using rigorous, industry-leading security protocols throughout the software development lifecycle. We selected the most secure hosting platform. We built on the latest technology stack. We took care to ensure a maintainable architecture, knowing that all software requires updates.
We’re proud to be SOC2 Type 2 compliant, but we don’t stop there. We know maintaining high security is an ongoing process. That’s why we have two separate teams to continually monitor, triage, and mitigate threats. The PWCampbell Security Team focuses on company-wide processes, while the BrandVisionHD Risk Management Team focuses exclusively on our software.
On an ongoing basis, independent consultants review our security policies and perform penetration testing on our systems.
- We scan our applications and systems regularly for vulnerabilities, which we risk-assess and prioritize accordingly in the delivery roadmap.
- We encrypt all traffic inside and outside the application using the latest military grade encryption. We prevent threat actors from accessing or attacking our systems by deploying the latest web application firewalls and content delivery networks. We also provide methods for you to keep your accounts secure with Multifactor Authentication (MFA), flood protection, IP allow-only rules, and secure default passwords.
- Our media players are hardened Linux devices, purpose-built for digital signage. Firmware updates are released and applied quarterly and automatically. Media players come with randomized default passwords and management of the devices can be completely disabled from the web application. Media players require outbound-only TCP/IP traffic to a limited set of IPs and URLs; no internal traffic is required.
